I have a schematic and I want to rotate the nodes along the pipes
using ‘Geo – rotate nodes along links’ in the ‘Schematic Editor’
toolbar. Some of the nodes rotate successfully, whereas others do not
rotate at all. I have no idea why this is and would much appreciate

I have deleted a feature class in SQL server. The file is still
showing in ArcSDE... but you just can not delete it ( I should delete
it from SDE. ). Is there anyway to get rid of the file in SDE?

Hello,
I have mosaiced my aerial photography into a single image in ArcSDE
9.2, and while this is great way to view the data the downside is that
i can no longer use the info tool to tell which tile is which.
To this end i think the best solution would be to create a Fishnet
that can be overlaid and labeled to display each of the tile's names

Hi all. I'm having trouble running the "Create Random Points" tool (in
the "Data Management" toolbox, "Feature Class" toolset) from
ArcCatalog. I get the "Tool not licensed" error message upon double-
clicking it.

Set the layer symbology for each raster to Stretched, Min-max, and
edit high-low values to be the same across all the layers.
Unfortunately there is no method (that I know of) to define the

I'm exporting TIN as a jpeg file at 600 dpi. But the picture in the
jpeg file is not complete. The TIN is blank in some parts and Legend,
Title, scale are not visible in the jpeg picture. Would u please give
me some solution?

I'm hoping someone can help with this problem I'm having matching the
colour ramp between multiple adjacent digital surface model tiles.
Each tile displays the full colour ramp, but because they vary in the
range of heights there is no match-up at their boundaries. I've had a
play with the stretched colour ramp functions but without success.

product name in the pipe...I have created a new field called
product_id and want to be able to assign an ID no. for the products.
categories are:
Crude = 1
Refined Products = 2
Chemicals/LPG/NGL =3
Idle = 4
so if gasoline then would be 2, if benzene would be 3, etc...

I want to delineate the watershed and sub-watersheds from the DEMs
from USGS. I am using spatial analyst in ArcGIS 9.2. Can you tell me
the step-wise procedure to pre-process the DEM and then delineate the
watershed.
I tried to do it on my own. However I am specifically having problem,
where it asks for the "pour point raster". How to create this raster?

corresponding TIFF file. My work is segment out all the regions into
small TIFF files. How can I do it using ArcMap? I have tried
"ArcToolbox\....\Extract by mask", but the the out put is DEM data.
How can I get the TIFF output? is there any automatic approach using

Yes. Python will work for you. Here is a script I wrote that reads
in the polygons of a feature class and for each one, it executes some
geoprocessing functions. You can modify this slightly to get what you
need.

The transition to 9.2 was filled with headaches where I work. Make
sure you have SP3,
[link] I haven't had any crashes, but I have found a few bugs and I suspect
there are hundreds of bugs that SP3 does not address.
