Which ASP.NET Control To Use? (if any)

i've been developing with ASP.NET/C# for a few weeks now and i've been
trying to incorporate google maps into my web application, but i've
been finding that there are quite a few of these different "Google
Maps Controls" to use and i just don't know which one is worth my
time. should i even be using ASP.NET?? most of the stuff i'm doing i

Hello from Spain :

I have a lot of markers in the same lat and lon GPS position. How can
I show all of them without put one over the other ? Please, somebody

There are problems with SVG printing in Firefox 1/2, but in FF3 this
issues are solved, at least on windows systems. So, why not update the
API and enable svg printing in FF3(+)?

As a workaround, add this to your code:
// ... your map load ...
if (_mSvgEnabled) { setTimeout("DelGmnoprint();",5 00)};
Geocode requests

Hi,

My developers are telling me that my site is likely going over the
15,000 geocode requests per day quota and accordingly, the api is
throttling new requests.

Is it possible to ask for an extension? If so, who do I contact?

Otherwise, what are my options in figuring out a solution to this
openInfoWindow

Changing side bar links/data based on map view

Hi Guys,

Thanks in advance. Here is the problem. I would like to show the US
map with markers and related links(for example 30 markers in US) in
the side bar. When I am zooming more, that means going to a state
leven(example New York), the side bar links should decrease(for
example 5 markers might be for New York). How can we achieve this? Is

Does any one know of a mapping package / website where I can go to a
map of a particular area draw a radius, rectangle, square etc on the
map and produce a complete listing of all the addresses within that
shape?

Hello,

I am trying to create a worldmap, but somehow I am always missing a
strip.

I just create a map with new GMap2(....) and than something like
setCenter(.... , 0);

I figured the 0 would show me 'the whole world" ?

Dynamically Sized Icons?

Hi

I'm new to the GMaps API but I have been learning all day...

I'm using the API to display some information contained within a
Google Spreadsheet. You can see where I am so far here:

You see that the label of each icon is a number taken from a
spreadsheet (in this case it is the number of graduates that attend

Anyone have experience setting something like this up?
The idea is to detect whether the user clicked over land or ocean, and, if
clicked over land, snap to nearest coastline/ocean.
Any ideas?
Sub- category stopped working in firefox

I use multiple categories to show my markers, until the last update
from firefox all categories worked fine, Now the category for 'Upland
Birds' no longer works in firefox but still works in ie, The id for
the checkbox is "u" I switched it to "up" for a few states and it
now works for those states, Could "u" now be some new code in
Sattelite Imagery Gone. "We are sorry, but we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this region."

I installed something the google maps module for drupal.
I uploaded 3 or so photos, but actually didn't do any geocoding or lat/
long finding for these photos. I was able to tag coordinates to photos

Hi
I would like to know if there is any library with a such function that
returns an array of points or an array of GPolylines, given a Polyline
and the number of parts.

Probably there is not such a function, but do you think it can be
easily implemented?
Any tips?

Placing a Route in Google Maps

I know this is probably a simple question. But hear me out before you

I have a wesite for a charity run ([link])
The run happens over four days:
Day 1: Belfast to portadown
Day 2: Portadown to Newry
Day 3: Newry to Dregheda
Day 4: Drogheda to Dublin.

I wanna calculate distance between two places shown on the
google maps. I want only time i don't want route to reach at that
station. I am having one center place and from that place i want to
measure walking time to each place shown on the maps.

polylines out of MySQL

Hi All
I have quite a bit of content (image overlays + markers), that I would
like to put together on a simple 2D image a bit like the static
version of Gmaps.

I wont be using GMaps data at all. I'd just like to generate my own
static version of my data by stitching back together all my overlays +
KML and multiple polygons

Hi,

I have a KML file with a lot og polgons for one place mark.

ex:

<MultiGeometry>
Polygon1
Polygon2
</MultiGeometry>

When I import into Google maps, it works correctly, but it makes
separate lables for the polygons. Is there a way to have one single
label for all my polygons of a certain type? I have a huge file and
GDownloadUrl transfer value..

Hey developers-

Last night we pushed v2.130d as v2.x and 2.129e as v2. We don't have
version aliasing implemented, so you'll need to specify the "e" if
you're hard-coding to those version for whatever reason.

There are currently no changes in 2.130d.

I need to find distance between two places programmatically using
Google APIs. Is this possible?
Mine is a non web based app. I just want a function, which takes 2
locations as parameters and returns the distance beetween

Tried looking at the source code but found no jscript code that controls the

I've updated the description fields (mainly "description=" and
"author=" and the sample images) within the Maplet XML file - [http:\]
\[link]TouraboutRegionSearch.xml

The sample images have updated, however the description and author
fields are still the old ones. Does this automatically get refreshed
