Custom Icons - can't click on them

Hi,

Using Mike's tutorials I've been able to get everything done I wanted,
but one last hurdle.

When I add in custom icons, I cannot click on the icons to make the
info window show up. They do show up when I click on the links below
the map I have created.

Hi guys.

i just began using the GMaps API. However I have this weird problem
for which I need to find a solution.

I have the little red marker on GMap in webpage. I'm using only the
the Map mode. Is there any way i can get the Tile version or the URL
of the tile on which the red marker is currently on.

Hey folks.

I've got various maps (see [link])
for an example) stored on pages throughout my site. I get their lat/
long from either google earth, or google maps and then store it within
a database.

For some reason, the markers aren't displaying on the pages within my
Enterprise Map API, HTTPS and the MapIconMaker utility

We're planning on buying the Enterprise API so that we can use Google
Maps in our [HTTPS] secured sites (we encrypt every page for various
reasons). Becuase our application drives a large number of websites,
each of which has its own branding, I want to make sure that the
markers are brandable.
Line break Problem

Hi I am creating a map that have use E-label to display labels.
Everything works fine.
But when an Elabel encounters a negative number like "-45.45". It
creates a line break between - & 45.45. So on map label looks like.

In the absence of anything else, maybe you've added a bad point to
your data. We'll never know because we can't see what goes in place
of (<%=listAddress.get(i)%>, which is why links are asked for.

Hi Is there a way to find a proper distance between large numbers.

For example, if i have a set of numbers like:
10, 40, 80, 100, 500, 10000
Now if I have to create a break points between these no.
I have to take an average & add that average to the starting number
like.
(10000 -10)/6 = 1665.

Hi Folks,

I am having a problem in that the map brought up using GClientGeocoder
brings up the wrong Church Street. Shown on page at URL below:

Whereas the HTTP method (or just providing Lat and Long) bring up the
IE and polyline still doesnt work with vml and style added.

Hello,

I am having some troubles getting my polylines to display in internet
explorer. I have read several threads related to this issue, and
stumbled upon one that had me modify the body unload with something
else...that worked, but i lost power and cant find it.

Does anyone know if it's at all possible to highlight an entire state
with the Google Maps API, and have that state be clickable? For
example, you'd be looking at a big U.S. map, all in regular Google
Maps white, but all of, say, Michigan and New Mexico and Texas would
be red and you'd be able to click anywhere on those states to go to

The application that I am working on right now is a shipping scheduler
and time/profit estimation tool for a local business. With gas prices
the way they are, they need to know if the current routes they run are

I've been digging around the posts but can't find an answer to my
problem to turn a polygon layer on and off. I load an xml file
containing 5 polygons in a similar fashion to the example by Mike
Williams (line 183 of my code) and toggle the layer on/off (3km zone)
at line 214. It only turns off the first polygon but not the

I would like to ask if you are thinking of doing the detailed map for
Lebanon (middle east).
its a very interesting option and having the ability to use it in my
country would be most appropriate since i don't really care about it

Hi,

I'm coding a asp.net page with google maps and some variables.
With Google map version 2.80 my infobox works fine in IE, FF2 and 3
Google Chrome and Opera. When I Change the version to 2 or 2.x wich
I've needed to develop more tools.
I get a Javascript error in Internet Explorer but in FF2 and 3 Google

lite' API for the iphone anytime soon? Ok, iphones have the default

I find that google map show English description of Beijing map when I
use Google Map API for flash. But other cities of China, such as
Xi'an, are descripted in Chinese.

Find out address to coordinates

Hello everyone,

To find out the coordinates to a pointed marker is no problem. But I
wonder, if the opposite way also works - to find out the belonging
adress oder street to some coordinates ?

This would be very useful if I like to save the adress when the user
just has to point a marker on the map.

Truck Routes on Google maps?

someone to take existing Google Earth data, add some proposed
buildings for a development and allow for multiple views from various
levels.

Work will eventually be on a website that allows neighbors to see how
