Google Maps api server rejecting request

Hi,

I have an urgent problem. I have a live site which has been using
Google Maps successfully for the past 4 months. Now I am suddenly
getting the following error when visiting pages with the Maps code:

"The Google Maps Api server rejected your request. This could be
because the API key used on this site was registered for a different

Geocoding a variable address

I am trying to create a page with a map that will center on an
address. The address can vary, and needs to be geocoded each time
because it is coming from a database that changes often. I cant quite
seem to get the script to do what I want, and I'm not that experienced
with Javascript. The variable address is set to "california" right now

Hi all,

Here's an odd problem (I think): I've got the Google Maps pulling
data from an XML file that is generated by PHP with data pulled from a
MySQL database. It contains the latitude and longitude of a
coordinate, along with other bits of metadata to display in the Info
Window.

There are 33 locations in the database, but the map is only showing 18
draw direction knowing latitude and longitude

I know the constant was introduced in 2.114 if I look in mapki
changelog. But we have been using it since shortly after Google IO
with 2.113. Today it was removed? Have I dreamt this?

I searched but I couldnt find how to set the initial zoom level. I
tried something but it doesnt work, When i alert the coming zoom
value, it seems normal. but it doesnt work with initializing the map.
What am i doing wrong?

Hello all,

thank you for reading; no action required in this subject. In between
I found the reason - the "key:" statement did not follow immediately
the closing ";" of the statement before. Now it works.

Distance calculation of points in a database table

Right now I'm loading in shapefiles via WMS and GeoServer. That part
is fine.

I'm adding these under a standard Physical map in a
GHierarchicalMapTypeControl. I did this because I want it to be sort
of a like a layer selection. The problem is that if I check on of
these 'sub' layers, it unchecks the other? Is there a way I can set
add a description to a point in Google Maps for a given lat/long coordinates

Hi,

I'm looking for a good example with countryborders.

My goal is to know if a marker is in a certain country for eg by the
latitude and longitude. It would be nice if I can store the country in
a database but I don't know if this possible.

I have noticed for some time when I search for "Data Entry Atlanta" a

I have obtained a Google maps ID linked to my site "[link]
berlin.de". When I use this key to create a map as part of one HTML
page of my site, it works. When I use the same key on several HTML
pages of my site, it works if the html files are loaded from file://...
(local disk). In real life, calling via [link] (which the

This is a problem I have encountered almost every time I use the
Google Maps API.

If I go to the Google Maps website and type in a postcode e.g. NE7 7LD
it will accurately geocode it.

I have found alot about creating a minimap inside a infowindow and a
large amount of google moderators have documentation on minimap
infowindows but I seem to be having a problem with my function

Hi everybody,

i've been using geocoding googlemap for several months but today it's
not working anymore.
I didn't change the way i get the lat and long in my php script
and ... i only get status code 620...

i inserted 2 seconds of sleep() between each geocoding adress but it
doesn't change anything.

How do I get the eWindow 'balloon' to auto shift the map to place the

GDirections no longer works

I've been using GDirections.loadFromWaypoints( ) for a while and it
certainly worked 2 weeks ago, but now it always returns the error
"G_GEO_UNAVAILABLE_ADDRESS". Has something changed with regards to the

Problem with event moveend

Hello,
I add a litener to the moveend event, so when the user moves the map,
new markers get loaded( and old moegers get deleted ).
This works fine, but when the maps displays a Info Windows and for
this it needs to move the map, the event also get fired.
How can I block this? I only want to react, when the user moved the map.

I have a Google Map that is 99.9999% complete! I have one last issue

I want to show only one marker for all grouped markers, and on a click
on this marker, I want to display one Info Window. On this Info Window

Hello I have a big problem with my map. On IE7, IE6, Opera it works
fine. But on some firefox 3 (but not each) I don't see any markers or
defined controls. I don't know where is the problem.

I am plagued by this error using the API. Usually the site functions
OK but when the Internet connection is spasmodic and loading of the
map is interrupted it will occur. I can also provoke the error by
submitting a dud key value.

In my part of the world bad Internet connections are a fact of life.

I have tried a number of times to generate a key for a website at
[link], hosted by NetworkSolutions. Each time the I try to view
the page, an error message is displayed regarding the key being incorrect.
The code works without an error when run from my home computer, but fails

GMap2 mousemove event not working correctly in IE8
