Get a polygon's maximum bounds?

I came up with this code to get a polygon's maximum bounds, but I
don't like how inefficient it is. While I cache the results for each
polygon, I'd like to know if there's a better way to do it.

I would create mapplet with opportunity for every user to create his
own instance of mapplet
with his own data.
This mapplet should work in such way:
1 - user take link to the mapplet like

The elements of my map are loading in strange positions and my control
of the map is limited to the very top section. I believe it has to do
with the height not being explicitly defined, but I'm not sure. Any
idea's on the problem?

How to hide/unhide icons using a check box.

Hey Guys,

Hoping you will be able to help me here. I have created a google map
and able to display icons with different colors & caption. What I
would like to do next is hide/unhide icons using a checkbox. Here is
one example of the site which has this functionality. So if anyone
knows how this is done can they shed some light?

I have map resize script, which is working fine.. but map zoom control
doesnt change its size. I have zoomControl = new GLargeZoomControl()

on map resize i want to set something like following:

h = $('map').getHeight();

zoomControl.style.height = h-20px;

Please advice.

IE 7 Problem

Infowindow Update with Ajax - can't access gmap object

This is driving me slowly insane. Basically I have a map with markers
loading from a mysql database. When the user clicks a marker the
infowindow loads with the related info for that marker in the
infowindow. Fine so far. I want to put an "update" link in the
infowindow so the user can click that and the infowindow content

Hi,

I'm looking for a developer who's interested in creating a Google Maps
Traffic mash up.
Something like this: MinneapolisTrafficMap.com

Features i would like to see.

1: Accommodate the user in specifying a city/state and/or ZIP code.
So the user can search for a specific location to research traffic
click on marker in IE doesn't work

try to click on marker. The error occurs and its message doesn't tell

hi,

I am passing lat n long to my map page through url
i m using asp.net 2.0

few days back it was working fine..

today i opened the page and suggenly its not rendering anything

i tried to google it.. i found few suggestions like.. deleting IE temp
files,
adjusting height n width to % of div tag..

business. To do this I intend to use Google Maps API.

When a business signs up for free and enters the postcode, the system

Passing Lat + Lng to a php script

We are seeing a strange error on our map

Do a search in zip code = 10009
You will see the search results in a list
Click on the Google Map icon on the page - It takes to the map

Sometimes we do see the markers correctly. But sometimes, we see a
strange 'Document element is null or not an object'. It shows as small

I've got a map loaded in from ajax request and used within a layered
window (not a popup window) - something similar to lightbox. I have a
function to let users mark a pin on the map and returns the point
value for my application.

I use prototype.js and this is how I add the listener.
GEvent.addListener(this.map, "click", this.handle_click.bind(this));

Hello,

I am trying to build a control around the map canvas and a grid so
that i can programatically place markers on the map and relevant
information in the grid.

This control would be reused in a number of webpages.

Am not sure if it would be a good idea building it as a server side

I am actually worried whether you wont update the GDirection method for

Using different icons for geoxml GeoRSS feeds

Hi, I am using GMap to show the location of item on an auction site
that I run. But for some reason the map isnt shwing the correct
location.

Have a look at a few items here on [link]

If you click on an item you will be able to click on the location
which will open gmap, it is using postcode and county.
