I am trying to store a user generated route in MySQL. The route is
created in the Google API, which is currently implemented in a .tpl

Am able to insert (sql) and view (xml) markers dynamically. Now, I
need to add zones by clicking the map, using custom co-ordinates,

All the polylines (at the moment i'm testing with just 2) are joined
together, rather than being distinct...can someone tell me why this

is there any way to find a place, introducing its name? i.e. 'istanbul
blue mosque'? Now I'm using the geocoder.getLatLng function, but this
function only works when I introduce the address of the place or the
coordinates of the point.

moment is to register two event handlers, one on GInfoWindow

I'm trying to do a custom Info Window, changing it's background
colour, in order to have a div that goes from one side of the info

You're using v2.s. That's the same as v2.73. GDirections was only
included from v2.81.

Change v=2.s to v=2.115

Note that v=2.115 is not the same as v=2, but there are problems
currently with v=2. If you change it to v=2.115 and still have
problems, please post a description and a link, not code.

Hi, I'm trying to do an interactive map and I'm seeing some
differences from regular Google maps and the Google maps API.

In my map, in the map view, i can't zoom all the way down, it's
missing about 2 levels.

Also, on the regular Google Map, in some places the buildings are
drawn like a sort-of polygon, but in my map they are not showing.

I have written an application for my PDA that logs the actual position
in lat/long (dec) every second. I have this application when I bicycle
to log my passes and to watch them live on internet.

Hi,

I would like to use Google Maps in the Microsoft WebBrowser Control.
Every time I run the program, Google Maps tells me the Key I got is
registered to another Website. I've registered a new key for 'http://
geotagger.paulsinnema.net' (non existing site at the moment) and use

Something that does jump out is this line -

waypoints, map width and height in pixels -> zoom level

I have a waypoints array. And I have the map width and height in
pixels.

Based on the above information how can I automatically set up the zoom
level to be able to show drive direction for all waypoints on the map?

Display Markers from A Search Query

Why wont it work with a scrollwheel? I have 3 points which work using

Hello,
I am using the following function to load directions from point A to B
to C to D and so on. It produces great results however I want to add
information for each of the stops pop up. Like point A on the map
would be clickable and show some other information.

It also productes the turn by turn directions and the headers show the
OverlayMessage help

Hi there - I'm trying to create a map with a loading message using the
OverlayMessage javascript, but it's not working at all. If I remove
the lines referring to OverlayMessage, the map loads fine, but when I
try to add an overlay message, the map disappears (in both IE7 and
FF3)

Can anyone help?

Having installed the ge plugin a while ago and by passed the process I
didnt realize how umm clumbsy it looks to a new browser coming to the

If they dont have the plugin first firefox indicates the page has a
plugin that it requires... then is unable to find it then the user
XPATH in my Google Mapping Application.

I'm using polygon.enableDrawing(); on a map applet which works well.
I've been requested to add a button to undo the last point drawn.

My attempt:

What do you do with bad geocoding?

People don't always type in the right thing for their address. On
Google it will return "did you mean..."

I am using the geocoding in my class to get lat and lon and putting
that in a database for the one time geocoding. But there are times
when the user types in a bad address and therefore nothing is inserted
