Using REST services from mobile application

Hi,

I'm building a mobile (J2ME) application and I've got some doubts
about Google Maps REST services usage.

Specifically, what I would like to know is: the services at these URLs

* [link]
can be accessed directly from a mobile application? Or should I use a
Drupal 5.x + Google Maps API + IE7 = Broken?

Any Drupal mavens have a fix for this:

My Drupal site stopped displaying maps in Internet Explorer 7,
although it continues to do so in FF, Safari, and IE6.

Here is a current example from the Google Maps API developers site. It
displays OK in IE7:

scope issue adding polyline overlays

I've worked through reading encoded polylines from a txt file and have
it working as a function "process_poly" but can't for the life of me
seem to get the array of polylines out of the function.

If I overlay them from within the function they appear just fine, if I
try to overlay them after running the function they are undefined.

I've made this google map, which parses kml files I made using Google
Earth. For some reason though whenever a visitor clicks one of the
markers for the first time the info window is too small and the
information is shown outside the window. The second time its clicked,
the info window looks normal though. Anyone have any advice or ideas

We've been working on this for a few weeks and are not quite there!
We're trying to pass variables from a search form to populate database
records on our map. We can successfully populate all records, but when
we add variables to the query, all records still appear.

All files have been placed in the following directory:

Hi there,

I want a user to be able to give me a shop location with a small
google map and search box.

Where you would normally type in the full address information I want
people to search for it and click on an 'accept' button so I get the
info.

Has anyone seen an example of this?

I would be nice if I would get the search info with a picture of the

Problem with Ewindow extension

Hi,

I am using Ewindow extesion, it works perfectly, but there is just one
problem : when Ewindow appears and is not full displayed on map, the
map does not move automatically to display all Ewindow (like defaut
Infowindow).
Is there a way to correct this ?

Loading multiple XMLs

Hi!

I want to load with the GXmlHttp GET method three XML files. I want to
download three XML files and make variables from the XML nodes.

For example:

-XML with road alocation points
-XML with road accidents
-XML with random polyline

extract variables and then interact with them. Should I just repeat 3

Hi,

I was using the KML upload for MyMaps and it was working since
yesterday. Now and today I cannot make KML upload run. The upload
process hangs or ends up in "Server Error 502".

Can anybody confirm?

Results from Maps in Argentina failure

When I search an addres in Argentina - Buenos Aires City like
( Obelisco, Buenos Aires, Argentina) I could see the results only on
the satelite view. The map result is only a grey page with a general
view with the whole city without any street. With the same seach in
Brazil the result is perfect.

Is there a simple way to add a some arrows along a polyline that will
indicate the direction of a given route? I'm creating some bike routes
using a kml file. I have an icon that indicates the starting point,
but the route is usually a loop, and right now I can't tell which way

I have some difficulties to use the Zoom event.
I would like to display differents Overlays (JPG picture) on my map
depending on Zoom levels.
I know that I should use the line :

GGeoXml stops loading KML files

i have a problem with my project. Im loading a lot of polygon KML's in
my script, but sometimes he stops working (most of the time). My
script is fine as far as i can see. He has to load bout 600 different
KML files. I cant change that because of the dynamic setup. Im using

Geocoder - Central London postcode inconsistency?

Trying to use the geocoder, and I've noticed that the following gives
a 602 error

EC1 London

This is quite a common search entry for people.

Trying EC1Y London does work, so the more specific postcode regions do
work.

However... both W1H London and W1 London work correctly, so is it
possible (please) that EC1 can be added to the geocoder.

by seperate layers. In some cases, those layers overlap, so the order

Hi… I have implemented Google maps in an application for one of my
patrons.

It works fine at all points, except at times when the processing gets
stuck in an attempt to fetch a picture from Google server, called
‘transparent.png’. Hereon, the status bar of the browser displays the

How can I Change the target Frame Links in Infowindow

I have a hot link in the info window that pops up for a marker point,
and I want it to open in the same window or tab, for accessibility
purposes. I have so far only managed which opens a new window. How can
I change this behavior. HTML Code with Target='_Self' doesn´t work in
the Descrition Text. Is there a possibility to set the default Target

Hi,

I have a problem that occurred recently in I.Explorer (7.0) browsers.
I think it all worked some weeks ago, but not now. When moving the
mouse-cursor over a polyline (or a polygon) I get an error-message
telling "Attribute only valid on v:image". I think this may be a
problem with the VML I'm using from the row <html xmlns=" [http:]

Hello!
I'm working on a map of bus routes in NJ and would like to add the
same functionality that exists in the main Google Maps app--where
clicking on a train station brings up info for that station. Google
Transit has the info for NJ Transit trains and other providers so the
info is in there somewhere. However, I don't see a (easy) way to get
transitcompass.com

So over the course of half a year, I revamped nysubway.info/
bostonsubway.info and came out with transitcompass.com.

Many things have been updated and changed. It's so much better than
before, so much faster!

Change info-window content for points from KML file
