How can I get places in my current mp view?

Hola todos,

I am working on a travel website, and wanna know how can I get a
list of places(like cities...) from my current google map view, I've
read through the docs and demos, but cannot found anything related.

Feature Request: Enhance GLatLngBounds to take any two points.

GLatLngBounds is supposed to take SW and NE corner points as
parameters. It will be useful for this to take any two points
instead of SW and NE corner points.

Currently, we have to do

properBounds = new GLatLngBounds(bounds.extend(se ), bounds.extend(nw))

for functions like GMap.getBoundsZoomLevel to work properly. If you

I'd like to be able to offer a map where the user can save custom
directions. basically the ability to have google supply the
directions, then the user could drag to change the route, such as to
take a detour to some other site, then save the route.
I can save basic points to a database, and know how to create
get point on current map

how can i get the center lat & lng.
it is possible to recalculate the center when i move the map?

Hello,

I'm currently developing a native iPhone application which could make
great use of the Static Maps API for displaying the location of a
point of interest. Unfortunately, as I understand it, this is
currently not covered by the API's terms of use, since it would be a
standalone program and not a website.

For our auction-based ride-sharing site [link] we were
looking at the feature of the user dragging the route (like you can do
in MAPS) and therefore customizing it.

I saw that this was a feature request.

Is there a status to it because I did not find anything?

Do you know, how to create google map witch my image of map? something

(In the source code i have not found where is the background image

I want my visitors to be able to input stores, companies, etc. in
their area, and get a map of the surrounding area. Can this be done
with the Maps API?

Perhaps, combining another API with Maps will do the trick?

Hi All,

I want to build a google analytics 'map overlay' style map for my
application (its built in flash I guess). Is there a way to do it
using Google Maps (yes i know Gmapis javascript).

1) Has anyone tried using GTileOverlay to produce such a map?

2) Even better does google give access to flash code of its Google
