  I'm running into an issue where the GDirections client is not giving
  directions the same as maps.google.com does (using the same query
  string).
  

  I'm including an example below using the default Google implementation
  of the advanced GDiretions example and maps.google.com to illustrate
  the issue I am encountering.

  Using variable to setcenter not working

  I have a small problem. I'm new to javascript so bear with me. This
  is probably something really easy to fix.
  

  If you have a look at my javascript, I have only two small functions.
  The initialize function works great and loads the set of co-ordinates
  eg.
  

  map.setCenter(new GLatLng( -34.14272, 151.08796), 13);

  ASP.NET Polyline Javascript Error

  I don't know if anyone can help me. This issue listed below only seems
  to happen in IE7 (haven't tried IE6), FF2 seems fine.
  

  I've just started using Google Map API with asp.net in VS2008 over the

  I have a bad problem with the polylines, It always shifts from the
  right position independent on which map kind I use ,I noticed this
  because I inserts marks for a group of points and markers for the same
  points, but it gives me so different positions, At the beginning ,My
  project is a tracking system and the page which the problem appeared

  1/4 th (One Fourth) of map loading Other Loads when i mouse over on my main menu

  listening for variable?

  Hi all,
  

  I want a google map to listen for a change in a set of variables which
  contain lat and long. Eg. var latitude, and var longitude, and then
  if it changes, re-plot the new co-ordinates. Is this possible? And
  if so, can anyone point me to some sample code. I'm a bit new to
  javascript but not programming in general.

  Map Key Problem

  I recently generated a new Key for a domain, built the map (static
  with
  multiple markers) and it works fine. After uploading the content and
  map I now get a message that the Key was generated for a different
  website. *The map does appear, but you are prompted with that message
  each time the page is accessed.

  Ajax Code

  IS there a way to refresh my google map by using just javascript code?
  Or do i need to use ajax? And i am looking to just try and refresh the
  map not the whole page and to only refresh the map when the data in my
  file has changed if that is possible. Is there posted examples of
  this?

  Curious IE functionality...

  I'm getting this odd IE behavior with my map. When the page is
  loaded, the pins are there, but there's no map graphics. If you click
  "map" again, it appears.
  

  If you click "satellite" it goes away again, click it again and it's
  there.
  

  Going back, click "maps", graphics are gone again, click again... they
